I began my career writing for the women’s lifestyle website, TheFrisky, where I started as a staff writer and climbed the editorial ladder to Senior Editor. In my role, I oversaw the Dating & Relationships vertical and wrote personal essays, advice columns, pop culture features, celebrity news, and health and wellness content.
In 2014, I was recruited by Discovery to launch CrimeFeed, a true crime news website for then fledgling Investigation Discovery network. In my first year as Editor-In-Chief, the site experienced 675% growth, driving more than 27M page views annually. In this role, I expanded my experience, collaborating with freelance writers, interpreting data and analytics to inform editorial strategy, and leveraging SEO and social to maximize traffic.
Throughout my career, I've ventured into diverse forms of writing, including essays, articles, podcasts, educational content, trend pieces, treatments, and TV/film. My work has appeared on TED, CNN, Dwell, Tripadvisor, YourTango, and more. I produce a weekly newsletter and am writing my first Christmas movie for Hallmark. I’m a member of the WGA.
